Congratulations Dave!

On Sunday the 23rd of May, Dave Bwye declared a 100 Km cross-country flight, Didcot out and return, in his Standard Cirrus HXX. Setting off just before mid-day, he completed his task at an average speed of almost 66 Kmph, giving him a handicapped speed of 74 Kmph. This flight qualified him for both Part I and Part II of the BGA 100 Km Diploma.

After his historic flight Dave said, "I owe it all to my Mum." Not true: he owes it all to Jeremy; Jeremy was due to fly that Sunday, but selflessly gave up his day in order to fly with Ed Smallbone.
